How does QR code photo sharing work?

A QR code encodes your event's private link. When a guest points their phone camera at it, the phone offers to open the link, which lands on an upload page in the browser. Photos go from the phone straight to secure storage and appear in your album.

Where should I put the QR code?

On every table, on the invitation or order of service, and on a sign where people arrive. Mention it once in the speeches and uploads jump.

Do guests need an app to scan the QR code?

No. The camera app on iPhone and Android reads QR codes natively, and the upload page runs in the browser.

Is a QR code photo album private?

Yes. The link is a long random address that cannot be guessed, files are never public, and on Legacy you can add a password. Nothing is indexed by search engines.

What size should a QR code be on a table card?

At least 3 cm across, dark on a light background, with a little clear space around it. Test it with your own phone before you print fifty.

Can I get the QR code as a vector file?

Yes. Moment and above can download the code as SVG as well as PNG, so a printer can scale it to any size without blurring.
